Horse lineart - OC in Progress

Back in action (after 3 or so years) with this horsey lineart. This horse character just "came to me" a couple of days ago, I don't know where he's been before xD. Anyway this lineart is just the first step of hopefully either a finished painting or some kind of character sheet - I haven't decided yet. What I do know is that his name is Nathanael and that he obviously inspires me . I know anatomy might not be totally correct in all places, but I don't care as I drew this without any reference.

I find doing lineart extremly hart. It feels like I have to do every single stroke a thousand times before it looks alright and my linearts look scribbly anyway xD. So all you lineart-experts out there like for example, feel free to give advice.
